Lucia did her initial Pilates training in Bermuda and in the USA in 2000, her training has since been updated by attending Californian based Rael Isacowitz of Body Arts and Science' Certification Course.
Lucia is also a certified Ashtanga teacher and offers both methods at her studio in Sea Point.
Pilates is a unique system of stretching and strengthening exercises, which unites the body and the mind. It strengthens and tones muscles, results in increased flexibility and balance, improves posture and ultimately creates a more streamlined shape. Pilates is used extensively for rehabilitation but can be tailored to suit any individual, from couch potato to professional athlete.
