The Pilates Studio is a small studio located in a quiet suburb, set in a beautiful garden, and run by a well-experienced Equilibrium Pilates Systems (EPS) instructor – Steph Maurel. The pilates exercises which are taught are based on ‘intelligent exercise’ and follow the original principles of pilates which are geared at helping you learn to control your body by engaging your mind.
Pilates is a complete mind-body conditioning technique that focuses on creating improved body awareness, strength, flexibility and balance. By addressing deep core stabilisation, pilates can improve posture and assist in the maintenance of a healthy spine.
The Pilates Studio offers detailed postural and movement assessment for all clients, Somatic Pilates, private sessions, group classes, ante-natal and post-natal pilates, kids pilates, specialised back care and accessory work. Reformer coming soon!
